Deu no Voo Tático – Colisão entre um VANT e um C-130 no Afeganistão

Nesta segunda-feira, um avião C-130 Hercules, da USAF, foi obrigado a realizar um pouso de emergência no Afeganistão após uma colisão com um VANT RQ-7 Shadow. Este tipo de VANT é operado pelo Exército e pelos Fuzileiros Navais americanos.

O blog sUASNews postou algumas imagens do Hercules após o pouso. O VANT (ou o que sobrou dele) não foi encontrado.

On closer inspection I could see a part of the one Blade had been broken off the No 2 Engine which seemed to not have feathered fully, the massive hole in the left wing had broken the fuel tank, and was told that they believe the wing, main spar and wing box was also bent.

I`m still wondering if she will ever get airborne again but if not, she had done one hell of a last flight and the crew must have done an amazing job getting the wounded bird down on what is one of the more challenging runways I`ve ever seen. Not often that you get to hear of survivors of a mid-air collision

Nós, que estamos começando a operar agora com esse tipo de vetor, temos que ter uma atenção redobrada às medidas de coordenação e controle do espaço aéreo (MCCEA), pois falta ao VANT a mesma consciência situacional de uma aeronave com a tripulação à bordo.

  1. Demorou foi muito tempo para isso acontecer, a utilização maciça de vants na frente de batalha, sem a criação de normas bem definidas, só podia levar a isso.
